I hope that the $405 million fine (one of the largest in history) that The European Union has slapped them with serves as a reminder that we all have a responsibility to create a safe space for children online.
Our GenZ are growing up as digital natives. During the build of Web3, the metaverse and beyond, we must ask: How can we ensure that it will be safer than the internet?
Let's take responsibility for safeguarding our youth, and continue to hold accountable those individuals and organizations that expose and exploit their vulnerabilities.
